Support Homeownership - As mayor I will relaunch Urbana's first-time homebuyer program.  I will empower our residents financially. I will support and develop our financial literacy program and work directly with local organizations focused on the rebuilding and development of citizens within our community.  I will support City Council's Housing Quality Goal, seniors and residents with disabilities to access, repair and remain in their homes.

Build Workforce Housing - As mayor I will promote the development of affordable housing for workers - such as those in education, health care, and hospitality, so that they can afford housing while working full time.

Fair Housing and Non-Discrimination - I will support effective enforcement of the city's Human Rights Ordinance so that residents, no matter their age, gender, race or abilities can access housing, employment and public accommodations.

Alleviate Rent Burden and Homelessness - As mayor, I will ensure safe and secure housing through tenant based rental assistance and property enforcement while providing tenant relocation support from condemned properties.  I will support organizations like Cunningham Township, in their goal to end homelessness in Urbana.
